Corporations and organizations alike always look for ways to promote itself better. Promotion can be “above the line” or “below the line” depending on the purpose of the company. “Above the line” schemes are evident marketing approach such as line advertising and media advertising. “Below the line,” on the other hand, is the use of indirect promotional schemes that include networking, telemarketing, personal selling, trade shows presence, road shows, sponsorships, direct mail and promotional items such as promotional mugs.
