This Article continues the historical development of Advertising by considering the period from the 1960’s to the present day. It discusses the Volkswagen ad campaign in the 60’s which was a watershed era for creative advertising. The 1990’s saw the introduction of cable television and the birth of MTV, which created an advertising bonanza.
